Ever been mystified by the vast variety of bits, tack, and saddles? Struggling to understand body position and aids to get your horse to perform better? This is the clinic for you! Our instructors will break down the general mechanics of bits and various training aids (such as tie downs, martingales, etc.) to understand correct usage. We will go over basics of saddle fit for both horse and rider, and how to analyze your saddle and pad for adjustments. Finally, we will dive into how body position and cues from your seat, legs, and hands can affect your horse's movement and your own balance while riding. No horse is required for this clinic - we will utilize our lesson horses to demonstrate concepts both from the ground and in the saddle. However there is limited availability to haul-in for those with their own horse who would like to utilize more targeted instruction.
